Revised Dates for Baja SAE Oregon 2009
The days for the competition have been officially moved out one day. Instead of Wednesday through Saturday, the competition is now scheduled as below:
Day 0: Thursday, May 7, 2009
- Event Registration at Holiday Inn Portland Airport Conference Rooms
Day 1: Friday, May 8, 2009
- Static Events Day: Portland EXPO Center
Day 2: Saturday, May 9, 2009
- Dynamics Events: Washougal MX Park
- Includes Hill Climb, Maneuverability, Acceleration, and Rock Crawl.
Day 3: Sunday, May 10, 2009
- Endurance Event Day: Washougal MX Park
- Includes Endurance Event 10 am – 2 pm
- Awards Banquet: Holiday Inn Portland Airport Ballroom

What about all those teams who already booked their flights, hotel rooms, car rental based on the old competition dates. There is a significant cost associated with changing our travel arrangements especially coming from Hawai’i. Is SAE going to help out with any of these costs? Its really late notice to make these changes.
